SwapRadar

Best crypto exchanges, scored by one method

Updated 11 September 2026 · compiled by the editorial team from the services' own pages

Where to swap crypto without opening an account: pick the direction, see who does it, what each one asks for and what decides the amount you receive. Services are scored by a published method — account requirements, rate locking, networks, support and whether the rules are stated before the transfer.

Why Changelly is first

Changelly scores 98 of 100: no account to open, a fixed rate available before the transfer and wide network coverage, including the cheap ones. That is what the method weighs highest — not the size of the brand.

How the score is built

CriterionWeightWhy it matters
No account needed30A swap that needs no sign-up leaves no balance to freeze.
Fixed rate available25A locked quote protects the payout when the network is slow.
Networks covered20Cheap networks (TRC-20, BEP-20) decide the final amount.
Support reachable15A stuck transfer is resolved by people, not by a status page.
Rules stated up front10AML and limits said before the transfer, not after.
Coins supported8A pair that is not listed cannot be swapped at any rate.
Years in operation6A service that survived two market cycles has a track record.

A service that publishes no number is not given an invented one: the table compares what can be checked.

How to choose without reading all of this

Three questions decide it, and they are not about the brand.

  1. Do you want an account? An account means verification and a balance held by someone else; no account means the coins never stop moving. Everything in the top half of the table above works without one.
  2. How long will the transfer take? On a congested network a floating rate can move while you wait. If the amount matters, take a service that locks the quote.
  3. Which network does your wallet support? This decides the fee more than the service does: the same stablecoin over TRC-20 and over ERC-20 is the same coin and a different bill.

What eats the amount you receive

The quote is not the whole story, and the difference is rarely where people look for it.

Considered and left out

A list that hides what was rejected looks shorter than the work behind it. These were looked at and did not make the table:

Not listedWhy
P2P desks inside big exchangesThe counterparty is another person, not the service, and the rules change per deal — there is nothing stable to score.
Telegram swap botsNo published terms and no way to check who is behind them; a comparison here would be a guess dressed as a score.
Bridges between chainsThey move the same asset between networks rather than swap one coin for another — a different job with different risks.
Services that were unreachable at the time of the checkA page that does not open cannot be verified, and scoring it from memory is how wrong numbers get published.

Questions people ask before the first swap

Is a swap without an account legal?

Yes. An account is a business decision, not a legal requirement; services that work without one still apply AML rules to flagged transfers, and they say so before you send.

Why do two services quote different amounts for the same pair?

Because each takes liquidity from its own set of venues and keeps its own spread. On liquid pairs the gap is small; on rare coins it is the reason to compare at all.

What happens if the transfer gets stuck?

It is almost always the network, not the service — confirmations take longer under load. That is why «support reachable» is a scored criterion here: waiting is tolerable when someone answers.

Can I get my coins back if I sent the wrong network?

Usually not. This is the one mistake no service can undo for you, and it is why the network list is checked before the amount.
